We want our customers to be completely satisfied with our sunglasses so we offer a hassle free 30-day return period for all sunglasses as long as they meet our return requirements.

 

Return Requirements

Eligible Products:

  • Sunglasses, blue light glasses, and their associated eyewear cases if purchased at the same time as eyewear.

Products Not Eligible for Returns:

  • Any non-eyewear product
  • Any product listed as a sale item
  • Ineligible products include but are not limited to apparel, lens cleaner, additional lens cloths, etc.

Item Condition:

  • Products must be in brand new, unworn condition
  • Products must still have their original packaging

Return Period:

  • Our return period starts 30 days after delivery confirmation by whichever delivery service is used for your package.
  • All return requests must be submitted within this 30 day window to be accepted.

We back all our sunglasses and blue light glasses with a 1-year warranty which covers any manufacturing defects.  This warranty starts once the product has been marked as delivered by whichever delivery service is used to ship your package.

We will be happy to accommodate order changes until the time your order has shipped. If your order has already shipped we will do the best we can to accommodate any requests but the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If your order is a sale item we normally do not offer any exchanges or returns but you can still send us a message and we can see if we can find something that works for you.

At this time, we are unable to offer custom engraving services, color customizations, or any other requests that are not already available on our website. We are always looking to expand our product lineup so if you have a specific item you'd like to see in the future, let us know by sending us a message!

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

All domestic orders over $60 ship free of charge from New York, NY and will be delivered via the United States Postal Service. 

At this time, we only offer international shipping to the following countries: Canada.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout but you can see a general estimate for delivery cost below:

UPS Worldwide Expedited® 2 to 5 business days ~$28

All orders are processed within 3 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped that will include your tracking number.

 

Occasionally, there may be delays in processing and shipping that are outside of our control. For example, processing and shipping times during the major US holidays may be impacted due to the increased volume of orders and increased demand for shipping services through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Submit Warranty Claim

We are sorry to hear you are having an issue with your Timber Tints. All our sunglasses and blue light glasses are covered by our 1-year manufacturer warranty. If you believe there is a manufacturing defect, please let us know by submitting a warranty claim (link below) and we will be happy to help resolve your product issue as soon as possible. To help expedite the process please attach as many images of the affected area as possible. 

 

Submit Warranty Claim

Temperature:

  • Do not store your Timber Tints sunglasses in temperatures below 32°F / 0°C or above 100°F / 38°C
  • Do not store your Timber Tints sunglasses in direct sunlight
  • Avoid storing our products in your car or other areas that have temperatures that fall outside of the safe temperature range listed above

 

Cleaning:

There are two methods we recommend for cleaning your Timber Tints sunglasses depending on how dirty they are. 

 

Visible Dirt:

**Do not attempt to wipe visible dirt or other material directly off the lenses**

  • First take your Timber Tints sunglasses and rinse them under warm water to loosen and remove visible dirt. If this is not enough you can submerge your sunglasses into warm water and jiggle the sunglasses side to side to assist with the dirt removal. Do not leave your sunglasses submerged in water for longer than a few seconds.
  • Next, pat the sunglasses with a dry cloth to remove excess water and let air dry.
  • After the sunglasses are dry you can follow the cleaning steps listed under the Non-Visible Dirt section.

Non-Visible Dirt:

  • Lenses
    • If you sunglasses do not have visible dirt but the lenses are smudged or have other oily substances on them, we recommend using our Anti-Fog Lens Spray which is specially designed for easy cleaning and to prevent damage to your lenses.
  • Temples
    • If you think the wood temples need to be cleaned, simply use a damp cloth to wipe them and then pat dry.

 

Long Term Care:

  • All our eyewear comes with natural oils to prevent drying and cracking but if you feel the wood temples are starting to dry out or feel rougher than before, you can apply beeswax or walnut oil to recondition the wood.
  • We also recommend keeping your sunglasses in their case while not being used to prevent accidental damage.

Lenses

  • If you sunglasses do not have visible dirt but the lenses are smudged or have other oily substances on them, we recommend using our Anti-Fog Lens Spray which is specially designed for easy cleaning and to prevent damage to your lenses.

Temples

  • If you think the wood temples need to be cleaned, simply use a damp cloth to wipe them and then pat dry.

Our wood sunglasses are crafted from high-quality, durable wood and have strength comparable to traditional sunglasses materials.

Yes, we prioritize sustainability. Our wood sunglasses are crafted using responsibly sourced materials, and our production processes aim to minimize environmental impact by utilizing natural wood and cellulose acetate made from wood pulp.

You can take your Timber Tints into the ocean, but you should not keep them wet for extended periods of time as this could lead to wood warping. After exposure to saltwater rinse the saltwater off with clean tap water following our "Visible Dirt" cleaning guidelines under "How Do I Clean My Timber Tints Sunglasses?" otherwise salt crystals could form on the lenses and may scratch if wiped off.

We use nylon lenses for our sunglasses to provide the ultimate visual experience. Nylon lenses are durable and have a 70% better visual experience compared to polycarbonate lenses. See more of our included lens features below:
